Industria Kielce wins opening match at Santander tournament

Industria Kielce secured a victory in their opening match of the ICT Cantabria Infinita handball tournament held in Santander, Spain. The Polish champions defeated PAUC Handball, a team that finished ninth in the French league last season, with a score of 42:29.

Dylan Nahi led the scoring for Industria Kielce with seven goals, while Arciom Karaliok and Kirył Rabczyński each contributed six. Coach Krzysztof Lijewski noted that his team successfully implemented defensive strategies to neutralize the opponent's pivot players, allowing for effective counterattacks.

While most players on the roster received playing time, coach Lijewski expressed concern regarding Luka Kralica, who reported back discomfort. Industria Kielce is scheduled to face Spanish side Blendio BM Sinfin on Thursday, August 20.
