Industrial automation and construction technologies debut in Brazil
Industrial technology companies are introducing new automated solutions to the Brazilian market. STILL, a brand of the Kion Group, has launched the AXV 12 iGo, an autonomous high-lift pallet jack designed for easy implementation without complex infrastructure. The device operates via wireless internet and utilizes lithium-ion batteries that allow for 'opportunity charging' during idle periods, preventing operational downtime. The equipment can support up to 1,200 kg and reach a nominal lift height of 1,844 mm.
Separately, SCHWING Stetter debuted the SLM4000 self-loading concrete mixer at the Paving Expo in São Paulo. The machine is designed to integrate loading, weighing, dosing, mixing, and transport into a single unit, aiming to increase efficiency and mobility on construction sites by reducing the need for external concrete plants.
