Industrial automation and machinery innovations showcased in Spain

The industrial sector in Spain is highlighting advancements in automation and manufacturing technology. In the field of industrial automation, technical distinctions between Remote Terminal Units (RTU) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) are being emphasized for remote facility management. RTUs are primarily utilized for data acquisition, telemetry, and the remote supervision of distributed infrastructures like electrical substations and pumping stations, offering the ability to store data during communication outages.
