Industrial automation firms showcase AI and smart manufacturing technologies

Machine & Vision will showcase its AI-based vision inspection system, ‘VISION MATE’, at Automation World Vietnam 2026 in Hanoi from September 9 to 11. The system integrates smart camera usability with customized inspection functions, allowing for automated quality control in sectors such as semiconductors, secondary batteries, automotive, and food/pharmaceuticals. It features an intuitive user interface and AI-driven automatic learning to detect various defects.

Separately, Yokogawa Electric Korea is participating in the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) 2026 World Congress at BEXCO in Busan from August 24 to 28. The company is presenting autonomous control AI and process optimization solutions, including the ‘FKDPP’ reinforcement learning-based algorithm. Other featured technologies include ‘KBC Digital Twin’ for virtual process simulation, ‘Visual MESA’ for real-time utility monitoring, and ‘Sushi Sensor’, an industrial IoT wireless sensor designed for predictive maintenance through vibration and temperature data collection.
