Industrial Development Agency launches offshore wind support program

The Industrial Development Agency (ARP) has launched the ‘Gotowi na offshore’ (Ready for Offshore) program to support Polish entrepreneurs in entering the Baltic Sea offshore wind supply chain. The initiative aims to build necessary competencies, assist with tender preparation, and provide financing for essential investments.

According to national energy policy, Poland aims to reach 5.9 GW of installed capacity from offshore wind farms by 2030, increasing to 18 GW by 2040. Total investment value is estimated at approximately 500 billion PLN, with the government estimating that domestic companies could account for 40% of the market.

To support this transition, the ARP intends to allocate up to 100 million PLN for investment loans, loans supporting EU-funded projects, and leasing. In collaboration with the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, the program will also offer subsidized training covering supply chain strategies, contracting processes, quality management, and innovation.
