Industrial expansion projects announced in Brazil
Major industrial investments are underway in Brazil's construction and sanitation sectors. A new mortar factory project has reached a consolidated CAPEX of over R$ 500 million, with an additional R$ 200 million planned for complementary industrial projects. The main facility is expected to become operational in 2027, with further projects slated for 2028. The development includes automation, logistics, and manufacturing infrastructure such as silos, mixing equipment, and robotics.
In the sanitation sector, Asperbras has completed a R$ 50 million expansion of its PVC factory in Penápolis, São Paulo. The expansion added 5,000 square meters and new injection lines, effectively doubling the plant's production capacity for pipes and fittings. The company showcased these advancements, along with solutions for water transport and drainage, at the Fenasan 2026 trade fair.
