In the field of plastic recycling, Krauss-Maffei Extrusion has introduced the ZSA Ultracycle. This side feeder for twin-screw extruders is designed to handle low-density, high-volume recycled materials such as flakes, film scraps, and textile fibers. By compacting these lightweight materials during the feeding process, the system allows extruders to reach their full processing capacity without requiring additional pretreatment steps like agglomeration.
