Industrial Park Planned in Moravské Písky, Czech Republic

A former pig‑farm site in the northern part of Moravské Písky is set to become a large industrial and logistics park. The developer, Svornost obchodní from nearby Těnice, plans to demolish the existing buildings and construct a single hall covering more than 36,000 m², within a total area of over 92,000 m².

The park will include 206 parking spaces for cars and 26 for trucks, and will be linked to the city via a purpose‑built road to Sportovní Street, which leads to the town centre and Velkomoravská Street. Although the site lies next to the D55 highway, there will be no direct highway access; all freight traffic will pass through Moravské Písky. Construction is expected to start next year, with the facility becoming operational by 2028 and providing roughly 230 jobs.
