Industrial training programs announced by Embraer and IFPA in Brazil

Several educational and industrial training opportunities have been announced in Brazil.

In Pará, the Instituto Federal do Pará (IFPA) Campus Belém is offering 40 free spots for an Industrial Electrician course. This 300-hour program is a partnership between IFPA, Siemens Energy, and Funetec, focusing on electrical and renewable energy sectors. Applications are open online from September 4 to 8, 2026, for candidates with a high school diploma. Selection will be based on academic performance in Mathematics, Physics, and Portuguese.

In São Paulo, Embraer has opened applications for over 140 free training positions in aircraft production. The ten-week course will take place in Botucatu and Araraquara, with specialties in mechanics, electricity, or painting. The program targets individuals aged 18 or older with technical backgrounds. Embraer has reserved 30% of the vacancies for underrepresented groups, including women, people over 50, and Black or mixed-race individuals. Applications close on September 14, with in-person testing scheduled for September 20.
