Industrial Water Action Workshop to address West Java water challenges
Global Water Intelligence (GWI) and Corporate Water Leaders (CWL) will host the Industrial Water Action Workshop in Jakarta, Indonesia, from November 16-18, 2026. Organized in partnership with Nike and the Water Resilience Coalition, the event aims to address industrial water challenges in West Java.
West Java possesses an industrial sector valued at $190 billion, but the region faces significant water supply and pollution issues, exacerbated by over 4,000 factories discharging into local rivers. The workshop seeks to transform these challenges into investable actions by bringing together global industrial brands, financial institutions, local manufacturers, utilities, and government representatives.
The program will feature a full-day action-focused workshop and two site visits. This event is intended to be the first in a series of workshops hosted by Corporate Water Leaders, with future events anchored in different priority basins.
