Industrial Water Solutions breaches Danish discharge limits, agency criticised

Industrial Water Solutions (IWS), formerly RGS Nordic and based in Skælskør, Denmark, has been found to have exceeded its permitted wastewater discharge limits to the Great Belt (Storebælt) on 38 occasions. The Danish Environmental Protection Agency (Miljøstyrelsen) approved the discharges despite the repeated breaches, drawing sharp criticism for not tightening the company's emission requirements.
