Industry summits held for sustainability and home building

MILEstone, a porcelain tile brand by Florim USA, hosted its 2026 Sustainability Summit in Clarksville, Tennessee. The two-day event brought together over 60 architects and designers to discuss responsible material selection, manufacturing innovation, and sustainable design practices. The program included factory tours, installation demonstrations, and expert presentations focused on the material lifecycle and healthy indoor environments.

In Lake Charles, Louisiana, Stine Home & Yard held its biennial 2026 Home Builder and Pro Expo at the Burton Coliseum. The event hosted approximately 200 vendor representatives from 70 companies, alongside nearly 530 regional contractors and 100 Stine employees. The expo served as a platform for manufacturers and contractors to exchange industry knowledge and explore new innovations in building materials and home improvement.
