IndyCar champion Felix Rosenqvist to exit Meyer Shank Racing after 2026
Meyer Shank Racing announced that Indianapolis 500 winner Felix Rosenqvist will leave the team at the end of the 2026 NTT IndyCar Series season. The team said it was “unfortunate” that Rosenqvist decided to move on after delivering a career‑year win at the Indianapolis 500 and helping build the program.
Rosenqvist, the 2023 Indy 500 champion, is in his eighth IndyCar season and currently sits sixth in the championship. His next destination has not been disclosed, but analysts note his prior ties to Arrow McLaren Racing and the possibility of a reunion there. The move is part of the sport’s “silly‑season” activity, with other top drivers such as Scott Dixon also rumored to be exploring new contracts for 2027.
