IndyCar debuts new street circuit in Markham, Ontario
The NTT IndyCar Series is set to debut a new street circuit in Markham, Ontario, marking a departure from its traditional Toronto venue. The 2.19-mile, 12-turn course features a unique double-lane pit lane and winds through the downtown district near the Unionville GO Station.
Arrow McLaren has unveiled special liveries for its No. 6 and No. 7 Chevrolet entries in partnership with SmartStop Self Storage REIT, Inc. The No. 6 car, driven by Nolan Siegel, will feature a blue base with white and papaya accents, while the No. 7 car, driven by Christian Lundgaard, will feature a predominantly white body. Both cars will display the SmartStop Canadian maple leaf logo to highlight the company’s presence in the region.
Racing action begins with practice sessions on Friday, with the main event scheduled for Sunday. Lundgaard currently holds fourth place in the championship standings.
