İnebolu family relocated after rental dispute left belongings in parking lot

A family in the İnebolu district of Kastamonu has been relocated to a new home after a rental dispute left them storing their belongings in a parking lot. The family, including 48-year-old İsmail Danaoğlu, his 79-year-old ailing mother, and his 16-year-old daughter, vacated their residence due to an inability to meet rising rent costs.

Danaoğlu, who is unable to work due to a disability and receives a monthly income of 5,700 TL following surgery, stated that the high rent led to the conflict with the landlord. Following the incident, the İnebolu District Governorate intervened. With the support of a local philanthropist, a new residence was provided for the family, and their belongings were moved from the parking lot to the new home.

The District Governorate noted that the family had been monitored by the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation since moving from Istanbul. Officials stated that while the family had previously been advised not to vacate the property before legal processes were completed, the family chose to move their belongings out independently.
