INEFI brings sports program to New Jersey

The National Institute of School Physical Education (INEFI) and the Dominican Consulate in New York are launching the ‘Un Día con el Barrio’ program in Union City, New Jersey. Scheduled for Sunday, August 23, at 10:00 AM on West Street and Sixth Street, this marks the first time the initiative has been held outside of the Dominican Republic.

The event aims to engage Dominican youth living in New Jersey through recreational activities in basketball, volleyball, chess, and vitillas. The program is a collaborative effort between INEFI Executive Director Alberto Rodríguez and Dominican Consul General José Santana to positively impact students within the Dominican diaspora.
