INEFI delivers new basketball court to Fundación MIR in La Romana

The National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI) has delivered a modern basketball court and new sports equipment to the Fundación MIR polytechnic in La Romana, Dominican Republic.

During the delivery ceremony, INEFI Executive Director Alberto Rodríguez Mella stated that the initiative supports Article 65 of the Dominican Constitution, which establishes the right to physical education, sports, and recreation as public health and education policies. Rodríguez Mella praised the Fanjul family for their social commitment to education and youth development through the non-profit organization. He also noted the administration of President Luis Abinader's commitment to advancing the physical education agenda through tangible actions.
