Inefi distributes sports equipment and 5,000 kits to Cibao schools

The National Institute of Physical Education (Inefi) is continuing its program to distribute sports equipment and 5,000 work kits to various educational centers. This initiative simultaneously impacts students and physical education teachers in more than twenty schools across Cotuí, La Vega, and surrounding areas in the Cibao region.

Inefi Executive Director Alberto Rodríguez Mella led the activities in the Sánchez Ramírez province, visiting 10 schools. During the visits, Rodríguez Mella emphasized the importance of public officials leaving their offices to directly deliver necessary resources to remote educational institutions.

In the La Vega regional directorate, Deputy Director Elvys Duarte oversaw visits to more than 10 centers. Duarte also recognized the community's efforts during the XI San Francisco 2025 School Sports Games.
