INEFI expands sports infrastructure in Dominican Republic

The National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI) is expanding sports infrastructure and resources across the Dominican Republic. In the Distrito Nacional, First Lady Raquel Arbaje and INEFI Executive Director Alberto Rodríguez Mella inaugurated a modern two-level multipurpose sports center at the Hogar Escuela Pituca Flores in the Las Cañitas sector. The facility serves over 400 students from initial levels through sixth grade.

In San Francisco de Macorís, Rodríguez visited the Vista al Valle softball field to deliver sports equipment to the ‘Las Angelitas del Valle’ academy. During the visit, he announced plans to repair and upgrade the Vista al Valle softball stadium. This project is expected to benefit both the local community and students from the nearby Gregorio Luperón School University.
