Various regional cultural and agricultural events held in Turkey

Several regional events are taking place across Turkey, focusing on literature and agriculture. In Balıkesir, the 2nd Balıkesir Book Fair is scheduled for October 16–25 at the Avlu Congress and Culture Center, featuring over 120 publishers and author Ayşe Kulin as the guest of honor.

In Konya, the 13th Konya Book Days have commenced at the Selçuklu Congress Center, hosting 143 authors and 116 publishers under the theme “Okumadığın Gün Karanlıktasın.” Additionally, Konya Metropolitan Municipality organized a gathering for female farmers from 31 districts to celebrate World Women Farmers' Day on October 15.

In Çayırova, the 7th Çayırova Book Days will be held from October 19–25 at the Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan Culture Center, featuring various authors and signature sessions. Meanwhile, in Eskişehir, the metropolitan municipality provided training to female producers on value-added production using medicinal and aromatic plants to strengthen their role in local agriculture.
