İnegöl school project redesigned to preserve 50-year-old trees
In the İnegöl district of Bursa, the construction project for the Neslihan-Halil Teşik 1st Level Special Education School has been redesigned to preserve four 50-year-old trees located on the site.
Funded by businessman Selçuk Teşik with an estimated cost of 60 million TL, the building plans were modified to incorporate the trees within the school structure. The design leaves sufficient space around the trees and features open upper sections to allow them to remain living inside the building. Teşik stated that the decision was made to protect the trees, noting that they cannot be replaced once cut, and to create a unique, aesthetic environment for students and teachers.
Once construction is complete, the facility will be handed over to the Ministry of National Education to begin educational activities.
