İnegöl, Turkey Approves Major Bus Factory to Create 450 Jobs
The environmental impact assessment for a new bus manufacturing plant in İnegöl, Bursa has received a positive decision, clearing a key hurdle for the project. The factory, to be developed by Ulaşım İç ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş. in the Hamzabey OSB area, will occupy about 37,003 m² and is designed to produce up to 1,600 buses annually, including export‑bound units. The investment totals roughly 87.5 million TL and is expected to employ about 450 people across production, assembly, technical services, logistics and administration.
Separately, İnegöl Municipality upgraded access roads to the industrial zone, laying 5,300 m² of asphalt on two streets (approximately 2,400 m in length) to improve entry for 43 factory gates. Mayor Alper Taban inspected the completed works, noting the improvements will facilitate smoother transportation for the new manufacturing facilities.
