INEM emergency systems experience two-hour outage

The National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) experienced a computer system failure affecting its Urgent Patient Orientation Centers (CODU) on a Thursday morning. The outage, which began around 09:40, lasted until the system was fully restored at 12:15.

The failure specifically impacted the IT support system used for the registration and management of emergency occurrences. To mitigate the disruption, INEM activated established contingency procedures to ensure that emergency calls were answered and medical resources were dispatched without interruption.

Technical teams worked in coordination with the system provider to resolve the issue and restore full functionality. INEM stated that they are conducting technical investigations to determine the exact cause of the unavailability and are monitoring system performance to ensure continued operational robustness.
