Ines Ceilinger wins best newcomer at Prvi glas Zagorja festival

Ines Ceilinger from Pretičinec has been named the best newcomer at the 58th 'Prvi glas Zagorja' amateur singer festival held in Sveti Križ Zagorski. Ceilinger performed two songs: the Kajkavian piece ‘Dej mi Bože’ and the pop song ‘Rekao si’ by Nina Badrić.

The festival featured 11 performers, each presenting one Kajkavian song and one entertainment song in Croatian. The event was hosted by Mirko Fodor, with opera singer Martina Tomčić serving as the president of the professional jury.

Separately, Split-based singer Dominika Merćep has released a new spiritual song titled ‘Reci da Isusu’. Following her debut ‘Kraljeva princeza’, this new track, composed by Franjo Kraljević, focuses on the theme of daily faith and living through everyday experiences.
