Commerzbank reshuffles US equity portfolio in Q2 2026

Commerzbank has reported significant shifts in its US equity portfolio for the second quarter of 2026, according to mandatory SEC filings. The bank's total US holdings stood at approximately $5 billion as of June 30, 2026.

Key adjustments include a major reduction in positions held in Deutsche Bank and Honeywell. The bank decreased its Deutsche Bank holdings by roughly 3.7 million shares, bringing its stake down from 2.91% to 0.68%. The reduction in Honeywell was even more drastic, with the position shrinking by over 95% to just 21,000 shares.

In contrast, Commerzbank significantly increased its position in PayPal, growing the stake by 116-fold to a 1.3% portfolio share, though it remains outside the bank's top ten US holdings.
