Infineon and Tack One win SICC award for flood monitoring technology

Infineon Technologies and Tack One have been awarded the ‘Best Technological Collaboration’ by the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) at the 2026 SICC Awards. The companies were also named a finalist for the ‘Most Sustainable Collaboration’ category.

The recognition stems from their development of FloodFinder™, a patent-pending, solar-powered smart urban flood monitoring system. The technology integrates Infineon’s sensing and semiconductor capabilities with Tack One’s ultra-low-power IoT expertise to provide real-time water-level detection via pressure and environmental sensing.

Designed to function without external infrastructure or an active energy grid, the palm-sized system is intended for scalable deployment in both urban and rural settings to improve climate resilience. FloodFinder™ is currently being utilized to protect communities in Brunei, Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Thailand.
