Infineon shares breach key support as company raises chip prices and expands Dresden fab

The Infineon Technologies AG share price slipped below the €74 support level, sparking concerns of a further decline toward the recent weekly low of €68.21 and a potential move to €62.60 if the downtrend continues. Technical analysts note that a bounce above €74.02 is needed to restore stability, otherwise the correction could deepen.

Concurrently, Infineon announced price increases for certain semiconductor products and warned that a rapid return to allocation could occur if supply tightens. The group is expanding capacity with a €5 billion "Smart Power Fab" in Dresden, doubling output at the site and creating roughly 1,000 jobs. Analysts remain divided on the stock’s valuation, with price targets ranging from €61 to €100, reflecting mixed views on how the demand surge will translate into earnings.
