Influencer Alê Gaúcha seeks medical help after losing track of IUD strings

Alê Gaúcha, a 21-year-old influencer, sought medical attention after being unable to locate the strings of her intrauterine device (IUD) following sexual intercourse. The situation arose when she attempted to check the contraceptive device and could no longer feel the strings, leading to uncertainty regarding its position and effectiveness.

To resolve the issue, Gaúcha underwent a medical evaluation and an ultrasound to determine the device's location. She expressed that the experience caused significant anxiety, not only regarding the physical location of the IUD but also concerning the reliability of the contraceptive method she had chosen for protection.
