The revelation surfaced following a separate public controversy involving influencer Joeman, which brought similar dating dynamics into public discussion.

Yang, a Chinese-American model, confirmed that she and Ray split in March of this year. In her posts, she expressed frustration with certain dating cultural norms, using the phrase “avoid Taiwanese men” (避雷台灣男) after highlighting instances where Ray would tell her he was “deducting points” from her after she missed his calls. While the couple had previously shared intimate photos during a trip to Taiwan earlier this year, that visit proved to be their last public appearance together.
