Influencer HANNA faces backlash over MEJUNA brand shipping and refund issues

Fashion influencer HANNA, known for her brand MEJUNA and collaborations with the Shimamura Group's Avail, is facing significant backlash following allegations of unfulfilled orders and delayed refunds.

Customers reported that items ordered as early as May 2026 were not delivered by October, despite repeated inquiries via email, LINE, and Instagram. After a consumer affairs center was involved, a cancellation was issued, but refunds were reportedly not processed for several months. The controversy intensified when a customer claimed that, after publicly sharing their experience on Threads, they received a message demanding the post be deleted by a specific deadline or face potential legal action.

HANNA issued an apology on October 8, acknowledging failures in the operational system and refund processing. She explained that the mention of legal consultation was intended to address third-party slander and harassment rather than to threaten the customer. However, critics argue the timing and phrasing of the communication appeared to prioritize suppressing the complaint over resolving the customer's issues.
