Influencer Kayla Shyx Hospitalized After Foot Fracture in London Ball Pit

German influencer Kayla Shyx, known from the KiKA series “Mädchen-WG” and her YouTube and Instagram channels, suffered a mid‑foot fracture during a promotional shoot in London. While jumping into a plastic ball pit for the shoot, she landed painfully and immediately felt something was wrong. She posted an Instagram video saying, “I jumped into the ball pit and ended up in the hospital,” and added that a passerby paramedic had initially told her the foot was not broken.

Shyx spent eight hours in a London hospital, barefoot, before scans confirmed a metatarsal fracture. She described the experience as exhausting and painful, noting, “The worst part is people don’t believe how bad it is.” After treatment, she returned to her scheduled live shows, decorating her orthopedic boot with glitter.

The incident highlights the physical risks that can arise even in seemingly harmless promotional stunts and has drawn attention from her followers across Germany and beyond.
