Influencer Marta Oliveira dies after plastic surgery complications

Digital influencer Marta Kelly de Oliveira Silva, 33, has died following complications from plastic surgery procedures in Rio de Janeiro. A resident of Volta Redonda, Oliveira maintained a significant social media presence, with followers numbering between 200,000 and 245,000, primarily sharing content focused on motherhood and family life.

Reports indicate that Oliveira underwent liposuction and abdominoplasty. After being discharged from the hospital on August 13, she fell ill at home and was readmitted the following day. She remained hospitalized for five days before passing away on Tuesday, August 18.

Her husband, fellow influencer Marcus Vinicius, confirmed the death via social media. He shared a tribute to his partner of 15 years, describing her as an extraordinary mother and a dedicated companion. The couple leaves behind three young children: Théo, Ravi, and Filippo.
