Influencer PTK granted habeas corpus in Alagoas crime investigation

The Court of Justice of Alagoas has granted habeas corpus to digital influencer Patrick de Almeida Silva, known as PTK, allowing him to remain free while awaiting trial. Silva had been in preventive detention since June 3 following a police operation targeting the Comando Vermelho criminal faction.

As part of the court's decision, Silva must adhere to several precautionary measures, including the use of an electronic ankle monitor, a prohibition on contacting other investigated individuals, a ban on leaving the Maceió region without prior judicial authorization, and regular appearances before the court to report his activities.

Silva was arrested during the ‘Morro do Alemão’ operation, which aimed to dismantle criminal activities and territorial expansion by the Comando Vermelho in Alagoas. Investigators alleged that Silva was being positioned by faction leader Nem Catenga to run for political office in 2024 to represent the group's interests. During his arrest, authorities seized R$ 20,000 in cash, electronics, and jewelry.
