Influencer Sol León Confirms Mother Died of Cardiac Arrest in Culiacán

Influencer and entrepreneur Sol León, 36, announced on social media that her mother, doña Lula, has passed away. She clarified that the cause of death was a cardiac arrest that occurred while Lula was undergoing routine medical procedures at a hospital, contrary to earlier reports that suggested complications from diabetes.

Lula, who regularly received medical check‑ups three times a week for diabetes, was not permanently hospitalized. In her final days she returned to her hometown of Culiacán, fulfilling her wish to spend her last moments there. Sol León described her mother as “happy, calm and at peace” and thanked followers for their support. The influencer also mentioned that she received the news during a live broadcast, briefly stopped the stream, and then traveled to Mexico to be with her family.
