Infoclimat launches new forecasting platform and seeks public support

Infoclimat, the French weather‑photo and data service, has released a new forecasting platform (modeles.infoclimat.fr) built on five powerful servers. The platform provides unprecedented forecasting features, including coverage for France’s overseas departments.

The association also introduced a reference data tool (dataclimat.fr) developed with Data For Good, allowing users to place any weather event in its historical context using reliable MétéoFrance data. President Laurent Garcelon calls for donations, offering a 66 % tax reduction for supporters.

The initiative aims to expand the service’s capabilities and sustain its operations through public contributions.
