Regional housing and social infrastructure projects advance in Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia

Various regional housing and social infrastructure projects are advancing across Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia.

In Mexico, INFONAVIT is implementing the ‘Viviendas del Bienestar’ program in Yucatán, aiming to build 60,000 homes with an investment exceeding 38 billion pesos. Additionally, the second stage of the Casa Cuna-Casa Hogar in Vizcaíno, Baja California, has commenced with a 20 million peso investment to provide specialized care and protection for vulnerable youth.

In Argentina, the ‘Tenemos Futuro’ program continues to expand housing in San Luis province. Construction is progressing in several localities, including Quines, Saladillo, Alto Pencoso, Balde, Villa de Merlo, and Santa Rosa del Conlara, with many units reaching advanced stages of finishing and installation.

In Colombia, the Caja de Vivienda Popular and the Secretaría Distrital del Hábitat have launched a home improvement program in the Bilbao neighborhood of Suba, Bogotá. The initiative provides subsidies of up to 20 million pesos per home to address critical issues such as humidity and deteriorated flooring.
