Naples hosts series of innovation and AI‑focused events

On 9 April, the Unione Industriali Napoli hosted the “Talk Infosfera” event, unveiling the new issue of the Infosfera magazine. Organized by the Campania DIH – Rete Confindustria and the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH), the forum discussed how digital transformation, new media languages and artificial intelligence are reshaping information, emphasizing the need for qualified, accessible journalism.

The “Cantieri del Futuro” meeting took place at the Circolo Rari Nantes in Naples, featuring Vice‑Minister of Foreign Affairs Edmondo Cirielli and Regional Council President Massimiliano Manfredi. The gathering, promoted by the Officina delle Idee association, aimed to foster dialogue between institutions, professionals, enterprises and young people to shape a future leadership class.

Later in October, the Health Journalism Forum began a two‑event series on AI and health communication, co‑hosted in Naples by Social Reporters founder Ilario Vallifuoco. The forum addressed trust, regulation, data privacy and the role of AI in medical journalism, with participation from health experts such as Walter Ricciardi and Nino Cartabellotta.

In the island town of Casamicciola Terme, the construction‑sector association ACEN held its “Acen incontra” meeting, led by President Antonio Savarese and Vice‑President Giovanni Donzelli. The session brought together local building firms, highlighted the benefits of association membership, and received remarks from Mayor Giosi Ferrandino on territorial safety and reconstruction efforts.
