Infosys and Chainlink partner for institutional blockchain infrastructure
Infosys and Chainlink have announced a strategic partnership aimed at expanding institutional access to on-chain financial markets. The collaboration focuses on providing a standardized integration framework for blockchain infrastructure rather than a single specific application.
The partnership utilizes several Chainlink technologies, including the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) for transferring data and tokenized assets, the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) for workflow coordination, and the Automated Compliance Engine (ACE). Other included tools are Proof of Reserve, Data Streams, and Data Feeds.
Infosys, which supports banking and payments infrastructure for over 1.7 billion accounts globally, intends to use this suite to help clients explore tokenized assets, payments, and settlement services. While the partnership leverages Infosys’s extensive reach in the financial services sector, the companies have not disclosed specific commercial terms, deployment schedules, or identified any particular banks or asset managers currently using the tools.
