Infosys to open new software development block in Indore

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is scheduled to inaugurate Infosys’s new Software Development Block-2 (SDB-2) in Indore on September 16. Located on the Super Corridor, the new facility spans 330,000 square feet and is designed to meet green building standards through energy-efficient cooling, smart automation, rainwater harvesting, and wastewater recycling.

The expansion aims to strengthen technological capabilities in cloud computing, application development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity. The facility is expected to bolster the regional talent ecosystem through potential collaborations with institutions such as IIT Indore, IIM Indore, and Devi Ahilya University.

Infosys currently employs over 3,300 people at its Indore branch, providing services to global clients in sectors including banking, financial services, insurance, healthcare, retail, pharma, and manufacturing.
