Infracore SA offers CHF 55 million for Wetzikon Hospital real estate

Infracore SA, a Swiss healthcare real estate company, has submitted a binding and fully financed offer to GZO AG to acquire all real estate assets of Wetzikon Hospital. The proposed deal is structured as a sale-and-leaseback transaction with a purchase price of CHF 55 million in cash.

Under the terms of the offer, GZO AG would continue to operate the hospital, retaining all service mandates, operating licenses, employment relationships, and patient data. The agreement includes a long-term lease for 30 years with extension options. Additionally, Infracore would finance the phased completion of an unfinished extension building once GZO’s core business has stabilized.

Infracore stated that the restructuring can be implemented without additional public funding or capital increases from shareholder municipalities. The company noted that the offer aims to provide a substantial increase in cash dividends to creditors and offers a robust basis for the hospital's restructuring process.
