Infrastructure and cultural developments in Békéscsaba and Komárom

In Békéscsaba, Hungary, the second phase of the Építők útja road project is nearing completion. The approximately 800 million HUF investment, funded entirely by domestic resources, aims to connect the Lencsési residential area with Kétegyházi út to improve traffic flow. Current works include drainage installation and landscaping, with paving at the Lencsési road junction scheduled for late October. Final stages will involve traffic signaling and road markings, with street lighting expected to be finished by early November.

In Komárom, Slovakia, a 3.5 million euro renovation of the Egressy Béni Municipal Cultural Center is set to begin after February 8. The project, which is 8% funded by the city of Komárom, will modernize the building's exterior and interior. Key upgrades include a complete overhaul of the auditorium with new acoustics and seating, the installation of energy-efficient heat pump systems, and the addition of a new elevator to ensure accessibility. The architectural plan features a copper-colored cladding on the city-facing facade.
