Infrastructure and housing developments reported in Brazilian regions

In Salgueiro, Pernambuco, the municipal government has released a preliminary list of 112 individuals selected for the Residencial Salgueiro – Etapa I housing project. The selection is part of the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program, funded by the Federal Government through the FAR fund and the Pernambuco State Government's Morar Bem program. Caixa Econômica Federal will now conduct a document verification and data cross-referencing process to finalize the list of beneficiaries, who must meet specific low-income and residency criteria.

In São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro, infrastructure works are progressing in the Salgueiro Complex, including the Itaúna, Luiz Caçador, and Recanto das Acácias neighborhoods. The R$ 63 million project, coordinated by the Municipal Secretariat of Integrated Management and Special Projects, aims to benefit over 10,000 residents. The works include drainage, paving, sidewalk construction, and accessibility improvements across 66 streets, totaling more than 15.6 kilometers. The project is expected to be completed within 24 months.
