Infrastructure and management issues spark resident protests in Marano and Cesena

Residents in Marano and Cesena are expressing growing frustration over deteriorating local infrastructure and management issues.

In Marano, citizens are concerned that a 1.5 million euro extraordinary maintenance plan for road repairs may be delayed until September. The delay is compounded by ongoing Enel utility works that have left many streets in poor condition. Residents fear that the upcoming school year will bring increased traffic and significant commuting difficulties due to the unaddressed potholes and road damage.

In Cesena, residents of the 'La Torre B 240' condominium in Sant’Egidio are facing severe living conditions. The building, owned by the Municipality of Cesena and managed by Acer, is suffering from broken elevators, leaving elderly and disabled residents unable to leave their homes. Additionally, residents report that garages have been closed for two years due to lack of funds, forcing cars to be parked on lawns, and the main entrance remains broken and open 24 hours a day.
