Infrastructure and safety concerns rise in Ranchi and Mau

Residents in Ranchi and Mau are facing significant urban challenges related to infrastructure and public safety. In Ranchi, despite the Municipal Corporation collecting approximately 100 crore rupees in taxes, the city's road and drainage systems remain in poor condition. Heavy rains have exacerbated the situation, leaving roads in areas such as Kachari Road, Madhukum Road, and Jaipur Road in a state of disrepair, causing waterlogging and difficulty for commuters, pedestrians, and shopkeepers.

In Mau, the presence of stray cattle on roads has become a major safety concern. Local residents report frequent vehicle collisions with animals, leading to injuries and property damage. Although temporary shelters have been established, many animals remain on the streets, contributing to both traffic hazards and sanitation issues. Citizens are calling for dedicated teams to relocate these animals to shelters to prevent further accidents.
