Infrastructure and school renovation projects underway in Krapina and Zagreb
Various infrastructure and renovation projects are underway across Croatian cities. In Krapina, construction has begun on the Ljudevit Gaj school and the August Cesarec elementary school sports hall. Current works include soil piling and injection to prepare the sites for winter. Additionally, the city is moving forward with a new community center, Mihaljekov Jarek, and a playground in Dr. Franjo Tuđman Street.
In Zagreb, the city has launched a 17.4 million euro renovation of the School of Applied Arts and Design (ŠPUD). This project is part of a broader effort to repair public buildings damaged by previous earthquakes. The renovation aims to improve structural safety, energy efficiency, and accessibility for persons with disabilities. During the construction period, theoretical classes will be held at the IV. Gymnasium, while practical training will take place at the Zagreb Fair.
