Campo Grande announces various traffic diversions and infrastructure works

The Municipal Agency for Transport and Traffic (Agetran) has scheduled several road closures and diversions in Campo Grande for the upcoming weekend. These interventions are primarily driven by community events, including the Lagoa Itatiaia Fair in the Bandeira region and various religious celebrations in the Imbirussu area.

In addition to community events, the city is managing several infrastructure projects. In the central region, a partnership with Águas Guariroba is facilitating road resurfacing on major avenues, such as Avenida Primeiro de Maio, to coincide with the replacement of water supply pipelines. Furthermore, the municipality has allocated federal funds to the Civil Defense to assist with repairs following recent severe storms.

On a regional level, motorists traveling along the BR-163 highway in Mato Grosso do Sul should expect delays and stop-and-go operations due to ongoing duplication works and pavement maintenance managed by Motiva Pantanal. These works affect multiple municipalities, including Campo Grande, Dourados, and Sonora.
