Infrastructure and transport issues reported in Serbian residential areas and rural roads
Residents in the Vojvode Vlahovića neighborhood in Belgrade continue to face significant transportation challenges following the collapse of a retaining wall on September 23. Although the street has reopened to traffic, the 26L minibus, which serves as the area's only public transport line, has not yet resumed its route. This forces residents, including the elderly, to walk up to one kilometer to reach bus stops.
In a separate matter, residents of Gorina are reporting a halt in road reconstruction works on the route between Vučje, Brza, and Gorina. Despite an announced investment of 68.7 million dinars funded by the Republic of Serbia and managed by Putevi Srbije, locals claim that after the old asphalt was removed, construction machinery left the site. Residents expressed concerns regarding the lack of progress, the absence of official project information boards, and the deteriorating road conditions consisting of mud and potholes ahead of the winter season.
