Infrastructure concerns raised in Araras and São Paulo

Residents and drivers in Araras, São Paulo, are expressing indignation over the deteriorating state of Avenida Loreto. The presence of large potholes on the avenue has created significant risks, including potential vehicle damage and accidents for motorists and motorcyclists. Local residents have questioned the allocation of tax revenue, demanding that the Araras City Hall take immediate action to repair the road and ensure public safety.

In the Liberdade district of São Paulo, complaints have been filed regarding hazardous sidewalk conditions on Rua Barão de Iguape. A resident reported that the sidewalks between Avenida Liberdade and Rua Galvão Bueno are in poor condition, featuring holes and makeshift markers. In response, the Sé Subprefecture stated that seven inspection notices have been issued for sidewalk irregularities in the region this semester. Officials indicated that teams will conduct new inspections, and property owners found in violation will be given 30 days to complete necessary repairs.
