Infrastructure Deputy Minister Rixi discusses Cremona transport projects

Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Edoardo Rixi met with provincial officials and local mayors in Cremona to discuss several major infrastructure projects aimed at improving regional mobility and logistics.

Key developments include the new bridge connecting Colorno and Casalmaggiore, which is currently in the advanced design phase. Anas is working on the definitive project following requests from the Public Works Committee. Once the design phase is complete, the project will move toward funding and construction.

Other priority projects discussed include the Casalasca bypass, which is expected to be included in the Anas program contract by December. Additionally, officials addressed the need for railway doubling to enhance commuter connections and the strategic Cremona-Mantova highway to improve connectivity between the two territories.
