Infrastructure developments reported in Kraków and Świecie
Several infrastructure projects are underway in Poland. In Kraków, the expansion of School and Kindergarten Complex No. 8 in Sidzina has been completed. The project, which took place between 2024 and 2026, involved a 27 million PLN investment to build a three-story facility covering nearly 4,200 square meters. The complex includes 12 classrooms for primary school students and five rooms for kindergarten, featuring modern amenities such as mechanical ventilation, air conditioning, and accessibility features for people with special needs.
In the Świecie municipality, plans are moving forward for a new District Police Headquarters estimated to cost approximately 75 million PLN. The project includes a three-story administrative building, a shooting range, a garage-workshop facility, and a canine facility with 16 kennels. The municipality is allocating 500,000 PLN for the first stage of road construction to provide access to the site. The police headquarters is expected to be completed by December 15, 2029.
